A Private Studio Visit gives you the opportunity to hear these differences for yourself, compare instruments side by side and consider their tone, sustain, responsiveness and harmonic character before making a choice.
You may be choosing your first instrument, adding to an existing collection or searching for a particular sound. There is no expectation that you will make a purchase.
We would rather you leave without an instrument than choose one that is not right for you.

A Private Studio Visit is an instrument consultation rather than a lesson.
Our role is to demonstrate instruments, help you listen and compare, answer practical questions and guide you towards an informed choice.
Studio Visits are not intended for personal practice, rehearsal or structured tuition. Playing technique and creative development are offered separately through our Creative Sound Workshops and one-to-one mentoring.
Before You Visit
Our studio is a specialist listening environment. Once your appointment is confirmed, we will send everything you need to prepare for your visit, including Studio Care information, what to bring, directions, parking and arrival details.
Please note that the studio is shoe-free, visitors intending to use Flumies should bring their own, and strong fragrances should be avoided.
